Women Owned Fourth of July Recipes

Food, friends, fireworks and family are all staples for a Fourth of July celebration. We’ve gathered some patriotic Women Owned recipes to serve or bring to your July 4th celebration. Grab some sparklers, a group of friends, and enjoy these dishes while supporting women entrepreneurs

Red, White & Blue Cheese Salad

Yields: 6 servings


1 bunch Kegel’s Produce Arugula, washed

1 bunch Kegel’s Produce Spring Mix, washed

1/2 small Kegel’s Produce Red Onion, sliced

1 cup Kegel’s Produce Sliced Mushrooms

1 pint Kegel’s Produce Strawberries, washed and sliced in quarters

1/3 cup Old World Style Almonds Bavarian Roasted Pecans

½ cup crumbled Mozzarella Company Deep Ellum Blue Cheese

¼ cup Balsamic Vinegar

1 ½ tablespoons Victoria Amory Apple Brandy Mustard

Salt & pepper to taste

½ cup Bella Sun Luci Olive Oil


Mix balsamic vinegar, mustard, and salt and pepper in small bowl. Add olive oil and mix again. Set aside dressing. Combine arugula, spring mix, red onions, mushrooms, strawberries, pecans and blue cheese in large salad bowl. Drizzle dressing over salad and toss until coated. Serve immediately.

Sweet Tea Marinated Pork Chops

Cook Time: 12 min.

Yields: 6 servings


6 pork chops

½ gallon Milo’s Famous Sweet Tea

4 tbsp. Heather’s Dirty Good Original Seasoning

2 tsp. minced garlic

2 tbsp. Bella Sun Luci Olive Oil


Combine tea, seasoning, and garlic for marinade. Marinate pork chops for 8 hours. Remove pork chops from marinade. Brush pork chops with olive oil. Grill pork chops 6 minutes per side. Serve.

Berry Patriotic Parfait

1 pint Kegel’s Produce Blueberries

1 pint Kegel’s Produce Raspberries

1 pint Swell Vanilla Bean Ice Cream (TIP: sub Anita’s Coconut Milk Yogurt Alternative to turn this dessert into a breakfast treat!)

1 7 oz package Andean Dream Quinoa Coconut Cookies, crumbled


Layer crushed cookies, then raspberries, then ice cream, then blueberries in individual jars. Serve immediately.

Star Spangled Sangria

Yields: 6 servings


½ Frey Farms Watermelon, sliced, then cut with star-shaped cookie cutter

1 pint Kegel’s Produce Blueberries, washed

2 Kegel’s Bartlett Pear, peeled and cubed

1 bottle Love Cork Screw Touch The Sky Niagara White Wine

½ cup Natalie’s Orchid Island Natural Lemonade

½ cup Crooked Water Simple Vodka

1 cup Tickle Water Natural Sparkling Water



Place watermelon stars, blueberries and cubed pears in large pitcher. Stir in lemonade, vodka, wine, and sparkling water. Refrigerate. Serve over ice.
